The Wilson Series 116 Boiler Tube Expander is engineered for superior performance in HRT and firetube boilers. Designed with four expanding rolls and two flare rolls, these boiler tube expanders achieve an exceptionally fine surface with minimal indentation by the flare rolls.

The Wilson Series 116 4-Roll Boiler Tube Expander is a reliable and efficient tool that is purpose-built for professionals in boiler maintenance and manufacturers.

HOW TO USE THE WILSON BOILER TUBE EXPANDER 

  • Remove all rust and debris from inside and outside the tubes.
  • Loosen the set screw with the Hex key, adjust the collar, and position the expander in the tube. (Not relative to boiler expanders, only heat exchanger expanders.)
  • Ensure the rolls are 1/16″ inside the rear tube sheet. Do not roll outside the tube sheet. (Not related to boiler expanders.) 
  • Apply Wilson Expander Lube (P/N 28115-0009) to the tube before rolling. 
  • Use two expanders alternately, switching every 10-15 tubes to manage heat. (Not related to boiler expanders.)
  • Check rolls and mandrels after each tube and replace if necessary.
  • Clean and store expanders after use.
